From you we need: outstanding client and relationship management skills, consumer PR experience, exceptional media relationships, social media content creation and community management experience. A creative spark is a must.

You will need to: manage programs of client work to deliver exceptional communication, media, blogger and social media outcomes; be a trusted adviser to clients; prioritise well for yourself and others; and fit with our values.

You will have the ability to team up with junior staff, providing guidance and mentoring and collaborate and contribute as part of the larger agency team. Your commercial savvy and strong relationship management skills will help you to understand your clients’ business and respond to their commercial and communications needs as well as respond to new business opportunities.

You will have:

  • At least 6-8 years experience in a consumer PR agency
  • Advanced and integrated knowledge and experience in PR
  • Ability to advise and partner with clients
  • Ability to lead and mentor others
  • Commercial “smarts” and sound judgment
  • Outstanding relationship management and writing skills
  • Solid media knowledge and contacts
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications

We are looking for two talented undergraduates or postgraduate students to join our team in 2018. You’ll reap the benefits of working with an experienced team, developing core communications skills and gain insight into the consumer PR industry.

Essential Criteria:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have knowledge and interest in social media
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Prior PR and communications work/internship experience is beneficial
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Completing final year of studies in Communications, Media or PR

Reporting to a Senior Account Executive, you will work with teams on the following tasks: 

  • Researching stakeholders, journalists and media opportunities, and providing recommendations for engagement
  • Mapping the media and social media landscape and identifying campaign specific targets
  • Developing media materials, such as media releases, biographies, infographics, video and photography
  • Developing content and social media leverage strategies for clients and managing implementation timelines
  • Assisting senior staff with event production and management
  • Preparing weekly and monthly client update reports and compiling campaign analysis
  • General office administration and supporting senior staff on clients, management and new business   opportunities

Your internship program will involve professional training and mentoring from senior staff, including:

  • 1:1 mentoring with a Senior Account Executive
  • Inclusion in agency training sessions and brainstorms
  • Access to and training in industry standard tools and platforms
  • Feedback on all internship-specific work before it’s finalised or published

This is an unpaid academic internship will run for approximately 12 weeks, for a total of 150 HOURS.
