We are looking for a social media and content expert to be a permanent team member working closely with our creative, influencer and PR teams. Are you creative? On top of social media trends? Strong copywriting and creative skills?

You’ll be responsible for creating, managing and growing our clients’ social media channels. If you’re super organised, creative and love food, read on!



  • Plan and maintain content schedules for multiple clients across multiple social media platforms
  • Implement strategies to launch, grow and engage communities
  • Brief and engage internal and external teams to create and source content including photographers, videographers, designers and more
  • Account management of clients, including day-to-day communication, ongoing strategy and reporting
  • Closely monitoring and fostering community engagement via social media channels
  • Responsive crisis management when needed
  • Report on engagement and audience growth across different channels, with the ability to pull out insights
  • Occasionally work on-ground at our client’s premises or events.
  • Proactive ideation for new initiatives
  • Work with influencers and/or influencer agencies to engage specific talent where necessary
  • Managing freelancers / contractors



  • Must have worked within social and content (3-5 years)
  • Agile, proactive and can work autonomously
  • Experience leading the management of a client’s social pages and content
  • Have worked within an agency (marketing, creative, branding, publishing) and understand how an agency functions
  • Positive and inspiring attitude
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience creating social media or content strategies, developing insights and planning campaigns
  • Strong client facing skills and stakeholder management
  • Experience in the hospitality / food & beverage market
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage your time across campaigns and clients
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with perfect grammar and spelling, exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to be reactive and think on your feet
  • Experience and understanding of social media management and listening tools
  • Experience and understanding of online metrics and analytics
  • Experience running paid social media campaigns
  • Experience with design & web software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing software, WordPress, MailChimp, SocialBakers, Hootsuite
  • Google Adwords and Facebook Blueprint certifications



  • A university degree in a marketing, communications or business discipline would be great, but we also love anthropologists, rocket scientists and behavioural scientists

We are looking for a talented undergraduate or postgraduate student to join our team in early 2019. You’ll reap the benefits of working with an experienced team, developing core communications skills and gain insight into the consumer PR industry.

Essential Criteria:

  • Prior PR and communications work/internship experience is beneficial

  • Completing final year of studies in Communications, Media or PR

Reporting to a Senior Account Executive, you will work with teams on the following tasks: 

  • Researching stakeholders, journalists and media opportunities, and providing recommendations for engagement
  • Mapping the media and social media landscape and identifying campaign specific targets
  • Developing media materials, such as media releases, biographies, infographics, video and photography
  • Developing content and social media leverage strategies for clients and managing implementation timelines
  • Assisting senior staff with event production and management
  • Preparing weekly and monthly client update reports and compiling campaign analysis
  • General office administration and supporting senior staff on clients, management and new business   opportunities

Your internship program will involve professional training and mentoring from senior staff, including:

  • 1:1 mentoring with a Senior Account Executive
  • Inclusion in agency training sessions and brainstorms
  • Access to and training in industry standard tools and platforms
  • Feedback on all internship-specific work before it’s finalised or published

This is an unpaid academic internship will run for approximately 12 weeks, for a total of 150 HOURS.
